“The Jacaranda Bowl at Waring Rd. and Adobe Falls Rd., also receives a haircut!” Following a community cleanup at the Jacaranda Bowl (Waring Rd. at Adobe Falls Rd) on October 19, on Saturday, October 26, Ideal Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical president Don Teemsma (second from right) assembled a work party including a staff member, and members of the Mormon Church in Allied Gardens to stuff 40 cubic yards of debris into the dumpster donated by Republic Services, Inc.
Through the efforts of John Crawford with the Grantville/Allied Gardens Kiwanis Club, Kiwanis Club members, students from the Lewis Middle School Builders Club (sponsored by the Kiwanis Club), and members of the Allied Gardens Community Council spent the morning of October 19, cleaning up the Jacaranda Bowl. Between debris from the Del Cerro Blvd. Median cleanup and the Jacaranda Bowl, the largest dumpster available was needed.
Thank you to everyone for donating their time to help cleanup the Del Cerro Blvd. Median and the Jacaranda Bowl. Jay Wilson, DCAC
